How to brush your teeth well?
Would hard brushing be good for your teeth?
Would a stiff toothbrush be good for your teeth?
Today, we are going to talk about
Bad brushing habits you’ve been misunderstood
&
Proper brushing habits.
The first bad brushing habit is the
‘Aggressive brushing’.
Aggressive brushing can cause wear down your tooth and gum line at a faster rate.
It can cause contraction of the gums, gingival retraction as well.
If gingival retraction continues by the strong brushing,
it affects the way your smile looks.
Badly, the roots of your teeth also become exposed.
The second
bad brushing habit is the
‘Choosing
wrong toothbrush.'
When
you choose the wrong brush,
especially
toothbrush with strong bristles,
can cause
tooth wear, periodontitis.
This
can make teeth more sensitive.
The third
bad brushing habit is the
“Brushing
immediately after a meal.'
Some
people brush their teeth immediately after eating
to remove
the food debris left on their teeth.
But,
did you know that this behavior is no different
than
not brushing the teeth at all?
Immediately
after eating,
there
is an acid in your mouth,
it’s
like putting an abrasive in your mouth
to make the teeth erode better.
It’s
better to rinse your mouth with water after eating or drinking.
If you
need to brush your teeth,
It is
good to brush your teeth
After about 30 minutes of the term.
The fourth
bad brushing habit is the
“Wrong way to store a toothbrush”.
If
you don’t change your toothbrush on time,
you can
catch a cold or flu again.
Also,
bacteria which attach to, and survive on toothbrushes that you used
may infect other viruses.
The fifth bad brushing habit is the
'Brushing immediately after a meal.'
After brushing your teeth,
many people often put the toothbrush in a closed container or put a cover
on it.
If you don't give your toothbrush enough time to dry enough,
your toothbrush will stay wet
and that develops mold.
Black dots on the toothbrush also indicate
that the toothbrush is infected with fungus.
While flushing the toilet without closing the toiled lid,
the same is true in this case.
If you flush the water without closing the toilet lid,
the water splashes all over the place and
bacteria in your stool can also splash onto your toothbrush.
First
of all, brush your teeth evenly using a toothbrush with soft bristles.
Second,
don’t use the toothbrush too long,
Change
to a new one at least 3months a once.
When
toothbrush bristle wear out,
You need
to change it too.
Third,
brush your teeth for 2~3 minutes, not too long.
If it
is hard to do it, set the timer for 2 minutes.
Fourth, when you brush your teeth,
Brush
your teeth evenly up and down from the gum.
Don’t
forget to brush the gum line and tongue side!
Fifth,
do not brush immediately after eating or drinking,
it
is good to brush your teeth after about 20~30 minutes.
When
you eat foods or something, your mouth turns acidic,
strong
acids corrode the thin film on the tooth surface.
At
this time, if you brush your teeth right away,
You will
brush your teeth without any protective material.
This
behavior can corrode the teeth.
The
acidified oral environment after eating may lead to faster tooth wear.
Sixth, store your toothbrush in an open place.
If you store your toothbrush in the bathroom,
put it in a well-ventilated case after using it.
Keep toothbrushes away from cleaning supplies, toilets, or sinks.
Store it so that it does not overlap with other toothbrushes.

Lastly, the most important thing is that you should choose the right, proper toothbrush with soft bristles.
Brush your teeth, adjacent teeth, gum line for 2~3 minutes.
