HASS to Launch ‘Amber Dry-Mill’ in July
Enabling Precise Marginal Fit and Natural Esthetics

A lithium disilicate material compatible with dry milling environments is set to be introduced to the Korean market this July.

HASS Co., Ltd. announced that it has developed a new lithium disilicate product, Amber Dry-Mill, and plans to launch it following completion of domestic regulatory approval procedures.

According to HASS, Amber Dry-Mill was designed with consideration of the machining characteristics typically associated with zirconia materials, enabling its application in dry milling workflows.

This design allows for precise marginal reproduction while also helping to reduce tool wear during the milling process, enhancing overall efficiency.

In addition, Amber Dry-Mill leverages the inherent fluorescence and light transmission properties of lithium disilicate, enabling restorations with natural, tooth-like esthetics.
The material is also etchable with hydrofluoric acid, allowing for reliable bonding and adhesion.

A HASS representative commented:

“Amber Dry-Mill was developed by combining the esthetic advantages and bonding capabilities of LS2 materials with the physical characteristics of zirconia. We expect it to become a new option in the dental materials market for users seeking both precise preparation and high esthetics, as well as for those concerned about wear resistance and discoloration in existing materials.”
