HASS Expands Support Initiatives in Cambodia with Hands-On Training for Local Dental Technician
Following its partnership agreements with Friends of Cambodia (NGO) and Komiso Hospital aimed at improving local healthcare infrastructure, HASS (Human Aid System Supplier) has continued to build on its commitment to Cambodia with meaningful follow-up activities.
Most recently, HASS invited Soklim, a Cambodian dental technician specializing in prosthetics, to Korea for advanced training. At CS Dental Clinic—a long-time partner of HASS—Soklim gained clinical exposure, while Director Jun-Young Kim of Busan’s Marine Dental Laboratory provided an intensive advanced course.
Under Kim’s guidance, Soklim strengthened his expertise by learning state-of-the-art prosthetic fabrication techniques and practical skills that can be directly applied in daily laboratory workflows. This training is expected to serve as a valuable foundation for raising the overall standard of dental care in Cambodia.

In addition to technical education, HASS also supplied a range of prosthetic materials to ensure sustainable use in local clinics and laboratories. The initiative reflects the company’s goal of fostering long-term, self-reliant medical development rather than one-off volunteer efforts.
True to its promise under the agreement, HASS will continue to provide targeted support aligned with local needs—helping ensure that patients in Cambodia gain access to better treatment options for years to come.
